But…They Hate Me

The Church has used loving God as an excuse for alienating the world. The Bible did say that we would be persecuted and hated just as Jesus was after all. However, we shouldn’t use that as an excuse to shut ourselves off from the rest of the world because they’re all God’s children too.

They hated me, but I was stilling willing to die for them. They wanted to run me out of town, but I was still willing to die for them.

Are we going to be rejected? Sure. But the story is, “What are you willing to do for those that rejected you?”
